Full Story

A memorial garden honouring over 30 fallen members of the International Operating Engineers Union, Local 793.  The project had a 500K budget and took 10 months to complete, 120 tonnes of granite were used in the construction and over 120 tradespeople were involved in the build. The success of the project lay in seeking out craftspeople who were expert in their field, stonemasons, expert mold makers, concrete specialists, steel fabricators and horticultural specialists were recruited to carry out the work. I completed the comprehensive vision and build the team who could complete it on time and on budget.
